Glenn A. vonRosenberg

YHS Class of 1952

Glenn is a native of Sharp. Excelling in both academics and sports at Yoe High School, he earned 17 varsity letters in 6 sports where as a senior he was elected Most Athletic. Upon graduation he attended Wharton County Junior College on an athletic scholarship. After serving two years in the U.S. Army, he attended The University of Texas in Austin and lettered two years in baseball. Glenn graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree in 1959 and began his career in the apparel industry. The family- owned business, which began in 1975, has grown to include operations in Texas and Mexico. His character and generous nature is demonstrated by his love for people, his long-term service to communities, especially Waco, his skills as a prudent risk-taker in international business, and his talent in developing executives in business. He exemplifies a life well-lived resulting in enduring friendships over the years. As he has all his life, Glenn continues to serve the Lutheran Church as a teacher and leader.
